DallasK Debuts New Mix on Musical Freedom Radio

Musical Freedom Radio releases their 27th episode featuring special guest DallasK, available now as a free download. Every month, Musical Freedom invites artists to showcase their own “musical freedom” in an hour-long set. The initiative gives its guests the opportunity to step outside the box of what they might typically play live. Highlights from last year include Don Diablo slowing it down in a chill 60-minute set, Oliver Heldens’ classic disco set and The Chainsmokers’ eclectic mix of indie dance tunes you may find on their iPod.

DallasK says, “Musical Freedom is something very important to me. As a producer, an artist and fan of music, my philosophy is to expose myself to all the music I can, regardless of genre or age. So when asked to do this mix, I decided to play some records I’ve loved throughout the years and inspired me to create the music I do today. Tegan and Sara Premiere "Boyfriend" Video

Tegan and Sara have released the first visual from their forthcoming album Love You to Death (available June 3 on Warner Bros. Records), premiering the video for their critically-acclaimed single "Boyfriend" via Pitchfork. The video is directed by Clea DuVall, a longtime collaborator and friend of the band, with whom Sara worked closely on her first-ever film score for Clea's directorial debut, The Intervention. The "Boyfriend" video features Tegan and Sara alongside fashion designer Rachel Antonoff and actress Sarah Ramos (Parenthood).

Released on April 8, "Boyfriend" is the debut single from Love You to Death and has received rave reviews from both fans and the press. Billboard declared the single "a stadium-shaking hand-clapper," and "Boyfriend" has been named a best new track by Pitchfork, Entertainment Weekly, Vulture and FADER.

Earlier this week, Tegan and Sara announced a 40-date North American headlining tour, kicking off September 9th in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and running through November 16th in Fort Lauderdale, Florida (see below for full list of dates).
